Lollipop Invites

So I've been playing around with different kinds of invitation's for Jerrica's party, and here is the sample invite that I have created that I am going to use. Now keep in mind that this is before all graphics, and lettering.

What you need to make these is:
two pieces of scrapbook paper that coordinate to your colors
I used the American Crafts: Daydreams playful day (front and back)
You will need two different size bowls, this will depend on what you want the size of your invitations
I used one seven inch bowl, and one four inch bowl.
You will need lollipop sticks (found in the baking section of store)
Tape
Glue
Scissors
Ribbon

The first thing you want to do is take your larger bowl and trace it onto the paper that you are using for the background, and then you want to take your smaller bowl and trace it onto the paper that you are using for the middle frame. You don't want these colors to be the same, because they will clash.I am using the one with the colored squares for my background, with the flip side which is brown with polka dots, and then the light peach will actually be the top layer which I will do the printing on.

Once you have traced your circles, cut both of them out. Then you are going to glue the smaller one onto the bigger one like this

Once you have finished that you are going to  flip it over, and place a little glue on the end of your lollipop stick, and glue it about an inch from the bottom. I wasn't too concerned with perfect corners because this is just a sample invite, so I can figure out where I'm putting the graphics.

Also I am using a mini bamboo stick that I broke in half and taped together, because again this is a sample, and I haven't bought the lollipop sticks yet. You want to hold it there for a few minutes until it dries.

And then the next step, you are going to tie your ribbon at the top of your lollipop stick, and make a bow. Or you can buy mini pre made bows and glue them on, as I have done.
I will post pics, once I have the top layer finished, and that will be the complete invitation for Jerrica's party. This would be great for any party that has a candy theme. Every child loves candy!
